Individual Immunity Challenge 9

Come on in guys. I'll take the necklace back from Tamar. Once again individual immunity is up for grabs.

Here's how today's challenge will work:

Below are 10 sets of words. Your goal is to get from the first word to the last word by creating a word chain. You create a chain by adding a word that forms a new compound word or a phrase.

Example:

If given BASE and BIZ as the first and last word, you could form a chain with:
BASE
BALL
GAME
SHOW
BIZ
Because BASEBALL, BALL GAME, GAME SHOW and SHOWBIZ are all words or phrases.

Alternately, you could form a longer chain with:
BASE
JUMP
ROPE
LADDER
BALL
GAME
SHOW
BIZ

The person who completes all 10 chains using the most total words will win individual immunity and safety tonight at Tribal Council.

The words you use to create the chain must be words, so you couldn't do:
BASE
S
MALL
even though BASES and SMALL are words, S is not a word.

Also the words/phrases you create must be common phrases by themselves, so I would accept
LARGE
PIZZA
but not accept
LARGE
BANANA
because while there are large bananas, that isn't really a common term. However large pizza is fairly common.

Here are the 10 chains to make. Post your answers in your confessional area. You can't use the same word multiple times within the same chain, but can use the same word in different chains.

1. First word: COUNTY Last word: BOARD
2. First word: HIDDEN Last word: PLACE
3. First word: DIRTY Last word: THING
4. First word: POUND Last word: BALL
5. First word: AIR Last word: DOWN
6. First word: BOOK Last word: FRIEND
7. First word: DOG Last word: CAT
8. First word: SUN Last word: DRESS
9. First word: GREEN Last word: BLUE
10. First word: CANDY Last word: HAT

You have until 10 pm eastern tonight (roughly 8 hours) to post your answers in your confessional area.

In case this wasn't clear, the words/phrases are only the two consecutive words, so you can't do something like:

BICYCLE
HORN
OF
PLENTY

Even though HORN OF PLENTY is a thing, HORN OF and OF PLENTY are not things.

Also you can submit an answer sheet without all 10 complete. Because if nobody does all 10, whoever completes 9 with the most words would win. If nobody does 9, the most with 8 would win, etc.
